Biography
Two lengths, both approved for publication. Copy either straight into your listing.
Short bio
44 wordsImmortal Baba is an electronic music artist, DJ and producer whose sets fuse ancient mysticism with modern sound. Built on deep grooves, psychedelic textures and ritualistic energy, his performances are designed to awaken, connect and transcend — blurring the line between ritual and rave.
Long bio
179 wordsImmortal Baba makes music for the hours when a dancefloor stops being a room full of strangers. Working across psychedelic, progressive and downtempo electronic forms, he builds sets that move like ceremonies: patient at the opening, relentless through the middle, and quiet enough at the end that people remember it.
The sound is a deliberate collision. On one side, the rhythmic and modal language of Indian classical and folk music — tabla, dholak, drone, raga-derived melody. On the other, the machine precision of contemporary electronic production: long-form arrangement, deep sub-bass, and texture that is built rather than sampled. Neither half is decoration for the other.
That approach comes out of playing to real rooms rather than to a format. Underground nights, beach stages, forest floors and festival closing sets each ask for something different, and the catalogue reflects it — from the ash-and-afterglow of Bhasma to the driving ceremony of Rituals of Existence.
He releases through Ragadelic Records and continues to perform across India and beyond. The intention has not changed since the first set: same frequency, different places.
